NEH Announces $33.17 Million for 245 Humanities Projects Nationwide

Anne H. Chen (Yale ARCHAIA) and Holly Rushmeier (Computer Science)  have received a $350k grant from the NEH for “Yale Digital Dura-Europos Archive (YDEA): Reassembling and Recontextualizing Ancient Cultural Heritage.” Dura-Europos is also the focus of the interdisciplinary course they are teaching this term “Applications of Computer and Data Science for the Digital Humanities” which is cross-listed in Computer Science, Classics and History of Art.
