Ted Kim has just been elected to the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering (CASE, ctcase.org)!
Prof. Kim’s citation reads: “For contributions to physically-based animation in computer graphics that have both increased the visual and dynamic richness of storytelling and increased the diversity of representation in computer generated media by developing mathematically rigorous simulation techniques for animated fluids and solids. “
New members will be recognized at the CASE annual meeting in May.
