Theodore Kim wins Best Paper and Honorable Mention

Theodore Kim, Associate Professor of Computer Science, won a Best Paper Award and a Best Paper Honorable Mention over the last two weeks.

His paper ConJac: Large Steps in Dynamic Simulation, written with Nicholas Weidner and Shinjiro Sueda at Texas A&M University, won the Best Paper Award at the ACM SIGGRAPH Conference on Motion, Interaction and Games (MIG) 2020 this past Sunday, October 18.

Separately, his single-authored paper A Finite Element Formulation for Baraff-Witkin Cloth, won a Best Paper Honorable Mention at the ACM SIGGRAPH / Eurographics Symposium on Computer Animation (SCA) 2020 on October 9th.
