Dragomir Radev
Dragomir Radev, the A. Bartlett Giamatti Professor of Computer Science, and a beloved member of the SEAS community, has passed away.
The School of Engineering & Applied Science intends on hosting a celebration honoring Radev and this page will be updated when a date and location are announced. Friends and colleagues are invited to share memories on Radev’s memorial website.

Drew McDermott
Drew McDermott, CS Professor Emeritus, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 after a long illness.
Drew was a world-renowned leader in the field of Artificial Intelligence and also served as the Department Chair and Director of Graduate Studies at Yale CS for many years.
Stan Eisenstat
Stanley Eisenstat, Professor of Computer Science, who taught computer science at Yale for nearly 50 years, passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 76, after a brief illness.
